I was excited to be asked by Queen contestant, Dana Boutwell, to be a sponsor for the Strawberry Festival Pageant. With this sponsor responsibility, I had to create an ad to run in the program book. If you don't know me, and if you do, you know this was not a task that I wanted to take on. I didn't feel that I had the time and/or the expertise to create an ad for my business. So Dana paired me with Jessica of the Fort Mill Magazine. I think the ad turned out Fantastic....if I don't say so myself!! I hope everyone turns out for the pageant and I wish the best of luck to Dana Boutwell in her quest to win the crown!

1st Annual Taste of Fort Mill
What a great evening! In my opinion, the 1st Annual Taste of Fort Mill benefiting the children of the Palmetto School, was a huge success. It was so nice to meet to many wonderful and funny people who came out to support such a worthy cause. The Springfield Golf Club was a beautiful venue for the event, which was held under a huge white tent speckled with teal tables that hosted super yummy "tastes" from local businesses. The Cupcake Girl participated with samples of salted caramel (the crowd favorite) and chocolate minis. 400 mini cupcakes were tasted by those in attendance. My super helper, my daughter Sophia, was a true trooper and help me tremendously. I hope to be asked back for the 2nd event next year!!
It's strawberry time!!! My favorite time of year! And I was so honored to be asked to make the dessert for the Strawberry Festival Sponsor Shindig this year! I have never seen the Springs Close Trial Barn look better. It was a gorgeous evening for this wonderful event and I am so glad I was able to participate.
